Technique Tuesday – Masking Part 1

Today’s technique is masking.  Masking is a very versatile technique that can be used in several ways.

• To create depth by placing images in front of or behind another image
• To make an image appear as if it is inside another image
• To isolate a part of an image
• To create a background around an image

In the sample I am showing you today, we are exploring the use of masks to create depth with the images in front and behind one another.   I will make future videos showing additional ways that masks can be used so please follow my blog or subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss  the next installment.  Enjoy!
