I am a wife, mother of four grown children, pet mama to two German Shepherds and two cats, an avid paper crafter, and a proud Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
My stamping journey began in 1997 when I was invited to my first stamping party. I had no idea what to expect, but it sounded like a fun night out, so I decided to give it a try. The moment I discovered the joy of creating handmade cards, I was hooked.
A few years later, after receiving a card I had made, my mother-in-law told me I should be teaching others how to make cards too. Her encouragement planted a seed that would grow into a rewarding career.
I soon began sharing my love of stamping with others, teaching how rubber stamps could be used to create beautiful cards, gifts, scrapbook pages, and home décor projects. One of the things I love most about paper crafting is that anyone can do it—whether you consider yourself artistic or not. Watching someone create a project they’re proud of is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Over the years, I expanded from home workshops to teaching classes in my home, at local venues, and through Continuing Education programs at area high schools, which I still enjoy teaching today.
One of the highlights of my Stampin’ Up! journey came in 2019 when I was honored to present a product suite at the OnStage Conference in Hartford, Connecticut. I had so much fun sharing creative ideas that I completely forgot I was standing on a stage in front of more than 1,000 fellow demonstrators!
