Country Flowers is one of my favorite sets in the annual catalog, I am a country girl at heart and my daughter gave me a teapot with a plant in it for Mother’s Day. I have it displayed on a shelf in my kitchen and this card reminds me of that.
This a great card for an intermediate to advanced stamper. First I attached a piece of the denim DSP (Designer Series Paper) from the Country Lace pack to Basic White cardstock and that to the Misty Moonlight card base. Then I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and attached to the DSP. Next I stamped the images using Memento ink then colored the images with blends. After that I ran them through my Big Die Cut Machine with the Country Flowers dies. Using dimensionals, I attached the stool first and then the teapot. I wanted the plant to have some leaves in front and others behind so I made a small cut separating the leaves then attached the plant to the teapot with dimensionals.
For the greeting I used some scraps I had laying around. After stamping the greeting in Memento ink, I trimmed the ends then attached it to a scrap of Misty Moonlight and then cut those edges to mirror the greeting. Finally I attached this piece to the card front with dimensionals.
