I am so love with the Country Woods Suite from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. The stamps in this suite are right up my alley with their open lines that beg to be colored all with a country flair! If you remember I highlighted a card using the Country Flowers set a few weeks ago. In case you missed it you can see it here. This time around I am using the Country Birdhouse set with the matching 12′ x 12″ Country Woods Designer Series Paper (“DSP”). If you haven’t seen this paper up close it features all types of wood grain and can be used for so many things. Perfect for any card or scrapbook page with a nature theme!
I really wanted to highlight the gorgeous DSP that comes in the Country Woods Suite. The birdhouse was stamped directly onto a piece of DSP then cut with the dies also available with the stamp set as a bundle. Just starting out and don’t have the Large Die Cut and Embossing Machine, no worries the image is very easy to fussy cut. I used the the colors in the DSP to add contrast to the birdhouse, again using the dies. The soft colors really add to the country theme!
