Twelve Days of Christmas – Day 2

Our next stop on the Twelve Days of Christmas tour brings us back to the Festive Plaid Pop-out Kit!

Today I’m sharing the other five alternate cards I created with this fun kit. I LOVE seeing how many different designs I can make with the supplies from the kit and adding a few staples like card stock and gems!

Take a peek and tell me—which one is your favorite?

Card 6:

This one utilizes scraps of gold and the white plaid card base. Glue them to a piece of gold metallic cardstock then to a Secret Sea card base. Place the framed tree cut out over the stripes with dimensionals to give a little dimension. I cut the Happiest Holidays apart and mounted them on Peaceful Pine cardstock. To make the holly berries pop I added the Adhesive Backed Christmas Berries.

Card 7:

I followed the original design of the card, with a panel of red metallic paper placed behind the cut-out then mounted on a Peaceful Pine card base. Then red sequins were added along with leaves and gold sprigs from the kit.

Card 8:

I decided to keep with a plaid theme and used a piece of the gorgeous All Wrapped Up Specialty Designer Series paper. Layered with the Secret Sea pop-out panel, Cherry Cobbler and a Peaceful Pine card base the colors of the All Wrapped up paper went so well with this kit. The card was finished with supplies from the kit and a few red sequins.

Card 9:

This project used the Secret Sea Pop-out panel as well. In the center is a piece of Peaceful Pine cardstock embossed with the Forever Plaid folder, then layered on a Peaceful Pine card base. Left over plaid card base scraps, banner and words from the kit with red sequins complete the look.

Card 10:

When I saw all the leaves laying on my craft table in a bunch, the light bulb went off and I thought wreath! Cut the gold and white card base in half trimmed it down and attached it to a Cherry Cobbler card base. I just glued the leaves, gold sprigs and holly to one of the Secret Sea pop-out circles. Added a few holly berries and viola… a wreath card!
