Twelve Days of Christmas – Day 1

Welcome to Twelve Days of Christmas Creativity!

Grab your favorite beverage, settle in, and let’s kick off twelve days of festive crafting fun!

We’re starting with a wonderful option for busy crafters who want to share handmade holiday cheer with friends and family, even when crafting time is limited! Of course kits are great option for any crafter from beginner to advanced!

Introducing the Festive Plaid Pop-Out Kit!

This kit includes everything you need to create 10 cards and 10 gift tags—making it easy to add a handmade touch to your holiday greetings and gifts. All you need is a pair of scissors!

There are four designs that are easy to put together and would make a fun craft night with friends!

Now here’s where the creative fun begins!

I LOVE taking a kit and putting my own spin on it, using as much as I can from the kit, while adding matching cardstock, gems and accents.

I had so much fun with this one that I created TEN extra cards and a little gift bag, perfect for tucking in a gift card! And the best part? I still have supplies left to make more!

I’m sharing five cards today and saving the other five for tomorrow!

Card 1:

Cut the white and gold card base to 4″ x 5 1/4″, mount on a metallic gold panel, then to a Cherry Cobbler card base. Attach the blue tag at an angle then kit supplies and a few gems

Card 2:

Trim the tree panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″, attached a piece of Designer Series Paper to a Secret Sea card base, mount tree panel on top with dimemsionals. Add kit supplies and a few sequins.

Card 3:

Trim a 2″ strip from the plaid card base, mount on a strip of gold. Run a panel of Secret Sea through the plaid embossing folder, attach to Cherry Cobbler card base, attach plaid strip on the left. Add the circle cut out to the center with dimensionals, then add supplies from the kit.

Card 4:

Cut gold and white card base down to 4″ x 5 1/4″, attach to Secret Sea ard base. Attach the white and gold plaid banner to a piece of gold metallic cardstock, notch the bottom with scissors to create a dove tail. Mount on card with dimensionals, add kit embellishments and a few gems.

Card 5:

I wanted something whimsical with this card so I Cut down the plaid card base, then added a piece of the Secret Sea thread from the kit at the top and attached in the front and back/ Attach this panel to the card base. Add a bow and embellishment to make a fun ornament!
