Twelve Days of Christmas – Day 3

It’s Day 3 of our Twelve Days of Christmas, and the Festive Plaid Pop-out Kit still has a few tricks up its sleeve! Today, I’m sharing two more ways to put those supplies to work: a cute little gift bag for spreading Christmas cheer and a scrapbook layout for preserving those merry memories. Grab your favorite beverage and join me, let’s see just how far one kit and a little creativity can take us!

Project 1:

I like to think outside the box and try to come up with different projects and this will make the perfect wrapping for some candy or a gift card. On second thought how about candy and a gift card!? LOL

It uses a full card base, a few score lines and a snip here and there and you have a little gift bag! The straps are Peaceful Pine two toned card stock glued to the inside. Then add a christmas tree and words to the outside, a few gems and all set!

Surprise Project:

Calling all scrapbookers… kits aren’t just for cardmakers! Think outside the box, the kit box, that is! The embellishments and pop-out pieces in the Festive Plaid Pop-out Kit are perfect for creating festive scrapbook layouts. Add your favorite holiday photos and let those Christmas memories shine!

For this spread I used the rest of the leftover pieces in the kit, added the 12″ x 12″ papers and kept all the embellishments the same as the cards. I LOVE how versatile this kit was!
