Or why does anyone choose to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
Today, I found two very special things in my mailbox: a Halloween card from a fellow demonstrator with a wonderful message inside, and my achievement pin for reaching $100,000 in Stampin’ Up! sales.

Can you guess which one I was more excited about?
If you guessed the card, you’re right! 💜
I am incredibly proud of this milestone and so thankful for the wonderful customers who have supported me along the way. Every order, class registration, and word of encouragement has helped me get here. But the part of my Stampin’ Up! journey I treasure most is the personal connections.
When I think about the friendships, the sharing, and the encouragement I’ve experienced, I’m convinced the stamping community is one of the most gracious communities around. There always seems to be someone willing to share an idea, boost my confidence, or simply be there when I need a friend.

Teaching classes is one of my favorite things. I love helping others discover the joy of making something with their own hands. And if you know me, you know I can get just a little excited when I start talking about stamping! LOL!
Over the years, customers and fellow demonstrators have become friends—and those friends have become family.
With so many people experiencing loneliness, I often wish I could pull up a chair for every one of them at a crafting table. We gather to make cards, but we also laugh, share stories, sometimes cry, and show up for one another. I never imagined how much that would mean when I first signed up.
My upline, Sharyn Bouck, has been my friend for 30 years. We’re like sisters, and I can’t imagine my life without her. We’ve traveled together to Stampin’ Up! events, retreats, and even a stamping cruise! Now that we’re both retired, we’ll go just about anywhere for stamping fun and the chance to meet new people. In the past few months, we’ve visited Maine, Pennsylvania, and Ottawa, Canada—and we’re heading back to Maine in November!

When I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I came for the stamps, the discount, and the opportunity to earn a little extra money.
I’ve stayed because of the people. 💜
Today’s card was a beautiful reminder of that. A handmade card and a few heartfelt words can mean so much. 💜
Happy Stamping!
Jo 💜
