When Stampin’ Up! announced the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System at OnStage earlier this year, I was beyond excited! The hardest part wasn’t deciding what to make first—it was keeping the secret for four long months. A hot foil system had been on my crafting wish list for quite some time, and I almost purchased a different brand last year. I’m so glad I waited!
If you know me, you know I absolutely love butterflies and using texture in my projects. So it was only fitting that the very first hot foil dies I purchased were butterflies and texture. The brilliant gold foiling really pops against the dark background, adding just the right amount of elegance and shine. Top it off with one of my other favorite techniques—coloring—and this card came together beautifully. It’s a perfect combination of texture, sparkle, and vibrant color that makes this design one of my favorites!
