Card Dimensions:
- Card Base – Night of Navy – 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″
- First Layer – Real Red – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Embossed Layer – Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Scrap pieces of Night of Navy and Real Red for lettering
Directions:
Gather all your supplies and lay them out. When working with the embossing paste you need to work quickly.
Stir the paste and put a small amount on the silicone sheet using a palette knife. Add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and mix well.
Place the mask over the Whisper White cardstock and spread the white mixture across the middle using the palette knife.
Divide the remaining mixture into two piles and add 2 drops of Real Red re-inker to one and two drops of Night of Navy to the other. Mix the red first and apply to the mask at the top. Clean your knife with a wipe, then mix the blue and apply at the bottom using the same technique as before.
Carefully remove the mask and set aside the panel to dry. IMMEDIATELY clean your mask, silicone sheet and knife with warm water.
Run the scraps of Real Red and Night of Navy through the Big Shot using the Happy Birthday thinlit and cut a number 4 using Real Red.
Using your snips cut apart the Night of Navy so you have the Happy portion only. Then cut the “th” from the Real Red. Save the scraps you never know when they may come in handy!
Add shimmer to the letters with clear Wink of Stella. Attach the Real Red panel to the Night of Navy card base, then using Multipurpose glue, attach the words to the embossed panel.
