Score at 4″ and 8″ one side, turn clockwise and score 4″ and 8″Cut the four corners out according to the templateAfter all four corners are cut out, fold along score lines. Set aside.
Box Lid Assembly:
Cut a piece of cardstock 8 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, score at 1″ and 2″ on all four sides.Cut slits and triangles according to the template.Your lid will look like this when doneFold along all score lines. Make sure you use a bone folder for nice sharp creases.Apply adhesive along the top edge of the “notched” sides as shown and fold over once. Repeat on the other sideFold the tabs in towards the center on both sides as shown.Apply adhesive to the top flap as shown.Flip the glued side over the two tabsPinch closed. Repeat on opposite side.Completed box lidFold sides upPlace lid on top.
